Gard Karlsen, co-founder of Completion Services, says: “Lundin Petroleum in Norway has decided to purchase the CSD software in connection with the operatorship on the Edvard Grieg field. We are excited to see that yet another oil company with activities in Norway has understood the importance of keeping track of well schematics and well history in an organized manner. We are also satisfied that Lundin Petroleum has decided to use the specialized CSD software for this task instead of using the drilling database software that they have in place already” Lundin Petroleum will also be using Cdim – the CSD web module. This will allow all employees to find the most up to date well schematics by using Internet Explorer instead of the CSD application. In addition to giving employees easy access it can also be used to share information with other applications and portals.
CSD is already in use in companies like Statoil, DONG Energy, Det Norske, Talisman, Wintershall, Carigali Hess (Malaysia), Oil Search Limited (Australia) etc.
