Completion Services personnel will be in Perth in the coming weeks to work with Woodside
The Australian oil company Woodside Petroleum
bought CSD licenses after a thorough evaluation and the CSD application has been in use since 2016. The CSD well schematic software has been used for all new well completions but Woodside also has many old wells that needs to be imported to the CSD application. In the coming weeks, Completion Services will be onsite at the Woodside main office in Perth (Australia) to help with this import.
, managing director and co-founder says “We are thrilled to be helping Woodside with this kind of work. We have been helping other customer such as Equinor (previously known as Statoil) and Oil Search with similar work and it is a very important part of the CSD implementation. With the presence of Completion Services personnel, we ensure that data is imported and entered in a uniform way and we also do QA/QC based on all the relevant documentation that is available. And being onsite also gives us the opportunity to run CSD training for all the completion and intervention personnel! This job will make it a lot easier for Woodside to perform the updates to the CSD well schematics in the coming years when they perform workovers on their wells and it will be easier to plan operations when you know you can trust the data that you find on your schematics. We look forward to helping Woodside to take their CSD use to the next level
